Lyn and I have recently enjoyed sharing the quarry at Morgan with members of the Nissan 4WD Club as part of Vehicle Familiarisation training – many thanks to Colin Price and his team of Trainers.    It’s marvelous to watch the reaction of members as they are often astounded at the capabilities of their vehicles.

We welcome new member Pedro Branco (953) and look forward to his participation in Club events.

The 22nd November Social meeting will include a demonstration of the updated Club Web site and how to logon to the Members Only area.

Special thanks to Naomi Jolly and her team who have worked tirelessly in organising our 30th anniversary celebrations at the Nuriootpa Valley Tourist Park (Fri 25th to Sun 27th November 2016).    It is now almost upon us and with around 100 past and current members attending – promises to be a memorable event.

Our Mechanical Interest Group is looking for assistance.   Please contact Kevin Jolly 0419 419 255 if you could you spare some time to help with ideas and organising speakers.

Volunteers are also required for the Caravan & Camping Show for half day shifts either AM or PM over the period Wed 15th to Sun 19th FEB 2017. Please email lance.boagey@bigpond.com if you can assist and if you have any queries please contact him on 0409 765 144.

Nissan Renault has purchased a 34% and controlling interest in Mitsubishi Motors – here is an article discussing potential opportunities.

It seems highly likely that the Patrol and Pajero will be combined – hopefully the best of both vehicles will be engineered into their replacement.

We‘ve just returned from Stansbury on York Peninsula during which we received a battering from the rough weather as it headed toward Adelaide – thankfully no damage.
