Following the meeting, tea, coffee and biscuits are available while allowing members and visitors to socialise.
Minimal formal business is conducted at Social Meetings, just updates and information on future events etc. Members are encouraged to participate in the various committees running the club and are welcome to attend committee meetings (refer committee meetings below).
Visitors are more than welcome to the Social Meeting evenings, please introduce yourself at the reception table on entry.

The majority of those attending enjoy a meal at Leicester’s Bistro at 6.00pm, meeting starts upstairs in the Skase function room at 7.15pm.
All members/visitors are welcome to come to the “Long Trips” meetings, bookings 2 days prior for the meal & meeting are a must and made to email@example.com
The primary purpose of these meetings is to enable members to report on their past long trips using photographic and other forms of presentation. A secondary purpose is to enable experienced trip leaders to assist prospective trip leaders to plan their trips.
A ‘long trip’ is defined as one taking longer than five days and requires that your vehicle be set up appropriately. (see later under Club Trips). Often these trips are a long way from civilisation and trip members need to know how to live independently for periods of up to three weeks.
The Club has a wealth of experience for travel in remote parts of the country including the Simpson Desert, Cape York, the Kimberly region, the Canning Stock Route, Len Beadell’s Bomb Roads and the Victorian Alps.
Not only are these meetings interesting and educational, but as they usually begin with a meal it enables relationships to be formed that often lead to members travelling together. These meetings are organised by a Long Trips Coordinator.
For members who want to get the best out of their vehicles AND learn more about all aspects of the wider “4WD World” !
